My Lindsey and Kailey are back from the hospital today!! Yea!! I was so happy with Kailey's new head. The color is amazing! Lindsey came with her red hairpin! Yippie!! I was so excited looking over these things that it was actually my husband who pointed out that the neck strings were gone! Grrrrrrrrrr! (Can you believe my husband noticed this before I did, LOL?) AG did EVERYTHING else I asked them to do, except this one thing. I immediately picked up the phone, and they are sending me return labels to ship them back out. Ah well. I'm so happy to have them home, even for a little while! I was missing them terribly!

Oh, and I forgot to mention that Kailey has some pink stains on her body. I swear these were not there before! Surely I would have noticed this!! Do I complain about this too? I feel like a nag, but do I have a right to say something?

I would definitely mention the pink stains. After all you sent her there to be improved
not to have something else happen to her!

Complain!

I'm glad everything else turned out so nicely though.

I would definitely tell them about the stains and I would also hang on to Lindsey's hair pin. I recently called and asked and I was told that they don't have them anymore so you may have gotten one of the very last ones.

I would complain about the stains. If they were not there before, then AG is responsible for replacing the body. Do you think they gave you the wrong doll? I'm glad you were pleased with everything else besides the pink stains and the neck ties. I hope you have better results next time.

Oh, Ashley's Mommy, I have no idea if they switched bodies or not! Has this ever happened to anyone? I just can't imagine these were there before. I pour over every detail of my dolls, and I definitely would have noticed this while changing her clothes. I asked that her limbs be tighted, and they were; would they have switched bodies for that? I'll send in another note. Grrrr.

I believe that they switched bodies on a Lindsey doll that had an american gril tag on her body. The tag is considered a defect by AG so they replaced the body. This HB member was attached to her Lindsey the way she was so she had her changed back. I hope everything goes well for you this time.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">When I got my Samantha home from AGH, she didn't have her strings either. But I didn't know about them switching then.. But when she arrived home, she got these scratches on her nose, & left cheek. I e-mailed AG about her cheek & nose, but all they said in their reply was that they were responsible for anything like that. I mean, I even gave her a baking soda scrub before she left so she was all clean. but when she arrived home, she had the scratches on her. & she has ever since. I wish that they would have taken resposibility for that. I odn't know what to do now.
It's been like that for 4 years now.... WAAAAAAAA!!!!! Prsnlrd.........HELP!!........

Megaagfan1, this situation is getting worse for me as well. Not only did I find the pink spots on Kailey's torso, I also found brown and black spots on three of Lindsey's arms and legs, and a shiney spot on her nose! I know the limb spots and pink stains were not there!! AAAAH! What to do? I doubt AG will take responsibility. I am half tempted to just replace the neck strings myself, and try to get all the stains out myself as well. Has anyone attempted a neck string replacement? What kind of string to use, and where to you get it?
